Chris has always wanted to plant a huge garden, with rows and rows of vegetables ~ peas, cucumbers, squash, potatoes, zucchini, onions, peppers, potatoes, and more tomatoes than you'd be able to make sauce out of if you were Mama Celeste. You'd almost think he was a farmer in a former lifetime or something. So last year he carved out some space in the back of his work yard and planted a garden. We had a lot of fun planning and digging and watering and harvesting all summer. And about half-way through the season he started planning for this year's Farm Town (as I've come to call it). We put the plants in the ground a couple of months ago and are now really starting to see the "fruits" of our labor...so to speak. I made a visit yesterday and took the opportunity to take a few pics. Then I started wandering around the yard updating my
Industrial Sculpture collection. Who knew that construction trucks could be so artistic?
I had to fight for these last year. They're my absolute favorite part of the farm and we're going to have a HUGE patch come fall this year!!!
He told me three or four times what these are, but I can't remember. Something about pulling cable so it doesn't come loose...They were hanging off the back of a truck and to me they just looked cool...
