It's A Shore Thing ~ The Return of the Sun

FINALLY!  The sun came back over the weekend!!  It didn't last long, but it was out enough for us to enjoy splashing around in our bathing suits and bare feet again!!

I had a little fun with this.  The ocean had built a big sand hill just off the edge of the surf.  When we went out in the morning, the sun will still coming up and when my daughter stepped in front of it, it lit up her hair like crazy, but I only wanted to see her silhouette and the light from behind her.  I had to crank my settings all the way over to get this...1/4000, f/25, ISO100

Grandma and Grandpa came to join us for the weekend and brought Grandma's friend Aunt Jackie.  The two ladies go back to when they were kids.  And can you believe it?  It was Jackie's first time seeing the ocean....
