When we first bought the beach house, our goal was to have it "show ready" by the 4th of July so we could the family out to celebrate on the sand. Once again, the weather was rather unpredictable. We had blue sky and sunshine for the two days before the holiday, and for the week after, but on the day itself....clouds and WIND! Really terrible for what should be an outdoor party. But, we managed to have some fun anyway....
This is one of those fiber optic lights. My sister-in-law brought it. It kind of looked like a firework, and I thought I'd have a little fun with it.
They've always been cousins, but on this trip they really became friends.
See what I'm saying about the wind? You can really see it in these fireworks. We did think it was nice for the rest of people on the beach to put on such a great show for us on our deck. We didn't have to buy one sparkler. All we did was open the door and look out....
The two boys are missing from this pic. They were off doing their own thing somewhere...but, you get the general idea....
