They circle you like sharks.
You can hear them coming.
The noise seems to come from all sides of where you are.
It fills the sky
And the air vibrates with their approaching thunder.
Then, you see a glimpse of tail through the trees.
It's moving fast.
Too fast to focus on.
Where did it go?
You can still hear it, but now it's hidden.
Then, like fireworks, they explode over your head.
Roaring over the ground, as it shakes beneath your feet.
Your stomach jumps
And your heart is like a bomb bursting out of your chest.
You scream as they soar right over your head,
"YEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH-OOOOOOOOOO"
So close, you can see the pilot in the cockpit.
Moving like lightening as they race by.
And then they're gone.
The noise fades.
It gets quiet, as you start to search the sky.
Where are they?
Are they coming back?
They always do.
Full of noise and speed and power.
The entire city stands still.
Their brilliant white smoke streaming from behind.
They always come back.
Because it's Seafair, baby!
